What began as a quiet visit to their ancestral village on the Amalfi Coast became a profoundly moving experience for an Italian-American couple.

They had set aside the idea of researching their family roots - discouraged by the complexity and cost - but decided to visit the town where their family once lived. By chance, their arrival coincided with the local patron saint celebration, and they were warmly swept into the festivities.

As they shared their story, one name sparked immediate recognition: Luigina. Locals recalled her fondly and soon helped the couple trace a living cousin now residing in the Veneto region. A heartfelt phone call followed - bridging time, distance, and generations.
